Praise and gratitude we pray to God Almighty because
thanks to the abundance of grace so I can compile this folktale
entitled Origins of the Name of the District of Kasihan in Bantul
well and finished on time. In this story, I compiled folklore
Origins of the Name of the Kasihan District in Bantul covering
several subtitles, namely Ki Ageng Mangir Wonoboyo's Ultimate
Weapon, Panembahan Senapati's Plan, and Rara Pembayun's
Journey.
This folktale was compiled with help from various
parties. Therefore, we express our sincere gratitude to all those
who have helped in the preparation of this research, especially to
Mr. Tirto Suwondo as Head of the Language Center of the
Special Region of Yogyakarta.
I realize that there may be many fundamental flaws in this
folklore. Therefore, we expect readers to provide constructive
suggestions and criticisms. I really hope for constructive criticism
from readers for the improvement of this folklore.
